Now that makes sense to me as the case did look much older than 1950s and there were two warranty cards that came with this.  One was the older 1930's style multicolored one.  Even better as I have a blue shell case and would love to marry this case to one of my older watches,   What watch do you think came in this case?   BTW the line book was the 1955-1957.
