Thanks for the link to the other watch. They are indeed identical. Mine came from a seller located in Canada. Could it be a model sold on the Canadian market?

I worked on the crystal yesterday evening. I tried sanding and buffing it with Polywatch. I got the scratches out, but the crystal remained foggy, even after multiple applications of Polywatch. More sanding and buffing didn't work, soI'm going to order a new crystal. But as a temporary (read : desperate)

solution, I applied a coat of lacquer on the crystal and the results are not half bad!
