It's a nice watch, but no luck for me either. It appears that the dial has been refinished based on the notch in edge under the "6". That is a locator mark to allign the dial for printing and not seen on factory finish Bulova dials. That makes it a little more difficult, as we don't know if the original looked like it does now. Still looking based on case shape, but currently
1946 unknown.
