Hi Amberjr, welcome to myBulova. This is a nice looking 70's era watch, it's in wonderful condition. In a nutshell, Accutron was very innovative watch technology that Bulova developed and released in the early 1960's. For 10-12 years Accutron was the gold standard in 'electric' (battery) powered watches. Early 70's they made a move to a quartz component to the movement for a couple years before the abandoned the Accutron type movement in favor fo an all quartz movement. Today, as you may know, quartz movements are very inexpensive (which is why watches are SO CHEAP these days).  It's also why, as a collector/enthusiast group we stop our collecting activities at 1980.

Today, Bulova is naming some of their watches as "ACCUTRON" although the Accutron movement (called tuning fork) is no longer being used.

In terms of ID we will name this a Bulova Accuquartz, thanks for sharing it.

PS - a reputable jewelry store should be able to put a new battery in it.
