I think your watch is an Elissa but it had a 17 jewel movement. So your watch may have had a movement replacement.

Yes it does, I've looked at that and wondered... The movement date is 1950 (L0) but the caseback says L1 1951, confusing 🙄

That's not unusual Stevie. Bulova using up the previous years movements in the next years cases was a normal procedure.

You can get a crystal for just about any Bulova ever made here if you know which one you need. But without a crystal catalog, that's going to be nearly impossible.

Stevie, if you've got a digital caliber and can measure the opening in the case where the crystal fits, I'll look through my G-S crystal catalogs and see if I can determine the crystal number you need. Measure it from top to bottom and side to side at the widest part. Measure in milimeters.
