The watch is small with a band of metal links that stretch to fit. It's a small oval shape with "Bulova" written on the face above the hands and "23" written below the hands. There is no second hand. The back is etched with "Bulova 14k Gold M2". And the bottom says "V12435" which I'm assuming is the serial number. There was nothing on the inside of the casing. The mechanical parts on the inside had etched on it "U.S.A. 5AR Bulova 23 Jewels". I did not find any hidden symbols or codes anywhere, other than the code for the year it was made. I'm not positive if it works or not, I haven't messed with it much. I actually came to own this by accident at a garage sale this summer. I bought a small box with about 10-12 watches for about $4. I ended up finding two vintage Bulova watches and a vintage Bulova travel alarm. I think I got lucky. I just am still researching and learning about the products so I don't really have any history about the watch.
