Picked this up today. Would love for y'all to find the model of it. It has an X and figured it was 1943 with the 10AK movement. Btw, running nicely.
Thanks, Bobby
Love it! Movement dated 1943, case date by s/n is 1947. This one is a bit of a mystery. At present, there are 5 watches in the database in this casing and all contain a 10AK movement. All of those are case dated 1943. Here is one I have that references the others. Yours has a distinct face unlike the others. At this point, I'm afraid this one still is an unknown.

Well at least we have the year. Curious tho', yours is a front loader. This one has a small slit under the bezel, pops off and movement drops out. The lip of the crystal almost looks too short to get a crystal puller on. So I'm not sure if the slit was made or is original to the case.
Also, I was able to upload photos from my phone originally to this post. Why does it prompt me to use a url to add pictures to the rest of the text boxes? Thanks!

Bobby - when you click the photo Icon the "Insert Image" message window open. You can either paste in a URL OR click"open file browser" to add a photo - make sense?

Well I have to upload to public file but it works. The pic looks humongus tho. This is the slit in the side I was curious about. Made so didn't have to pull crystal?? Thanks

It's interesting that we are seeing a number of these with varying dials.

So I got to realizing that the slit in the side has to be original. There is a groove in the bezel that fits over the stem. Plus, no way the movement would be able to come out the front unless the bezel was removed also. Just looks like it's a little worn from opening in the past.
