A 1963 Bulova wristwatch. A silvered dial with steel batons and a date aperture to 3 o'clock. A stainless steel case with unusual 'bombe' shaped lugs, with original winding crown. A 17 jewel manual wind caliber 11 ALCD mechanism signed Bulova. This watch comes complete with its original Bulova box. Case reference code dates this watch to 1973. Case width 35mm. The photos and above text are from a website. The watch was bought for me as a present, im trying to find out the watches name and confirm its date, it seems 1963 and 1973 are conflicting each other.

Agreed.
I'm also curious how the case reference code dates to 1973. What is the reference code?
Based on the inside case date stamp of M3 I will go with 1963 International
M3 on the case back and M5 on the movement.
1963 International (Model 51 12 19?)
I'm going with 1963 Bulova International 51 12 19
