I haven't found a match for this one. I have seen it a couple of times and really love the flower engraving. Looks like the case is 1928 and movement at 1929. Could be a replacement but by the patina on the dial it looks like it they have been together for a very long time.

Thanks Bob. I think you are right, nice ad find.
What a great watch. It looks very close to the Musette but the ad states it is 14KT solid gold while this watch is gold filled. Very close though. I do think the dial may have been swapped or this is the dial for the gold filled version. Either way it is great to finally have one on MyBulova.

The off-site watch I linked to is also gold filled with same dial as subject watch for what it's worth. My gut feeling is that face is original to the GF case.

Thanks Jim, it is a pretty model. I think a lot of models used the same name for both the gold filled and solid gold models in this era but not 100% sure on this one.
Musette... she's on my hunting list!
Hi Kathy, the watch is an Unknown. The engraving of the Musette is different, it is solid gold and from 1927. This watch is definitively inspired by the Musette, but given the frequent name changes of Bulova, even for the exact same model, I hesitate to believe this model would have been called Musette. In any case, no ad exists. The nice thing of your watch is that until now, the various examples I have seen are all from 1929, while yours is from 1928, extending the number of years it was available to 2. One small remark: I clearly see a shield date code, not omega in your picture of the movement.....

Thank you Alex. Oh yes it is a shield. I am not sure why I was thinking omega.
I think you're right Alex - there is a distinct difference in the enamalled section as well. I looked and don't really see a match either? 1928 Bulova Unknown
(PS - Lisa didn't get too many wrong but I think that might have been one of them)
Team - with agreement I think this one has to be classified Unknown?
