Tempting to call this a Sky King but it could as easily go down as an unknown. The movement is a 17J 10AN which is consistent with a Sky King. The case is marked "Bulova Quality". Both are 1931. It runs. I relumed the hands but its otherwise as I bought it. This one is definitely different. The shape says "Sky King" but the gold filigree on the bezel is unique. In fairness, there does appear to be some variation in the gold pattern in the Sky Kings but I've never seen one where the gold in the bottom and top borders is vertical and not horizontal. Regardless, I think its a cool design.
Humph. It appears I didn't label the "Movement" picture correctly and published a second picture of the case back instead. Here's the movement.

We've one other example of this watch that I can find in the dB, marked as Unknown. The case is very similar to the two Sky King cases but those gold decorations on the top and bottom stile throw it off. Unlike the other one the dial appears correct. This is a very nice example but alas I fear it Unknown
1931 Bulova Unknown
Yeah... this guy is still Unknown. I've had one and seen about 4 others. Legit model for sure.
Yep, this is one of those mystery case models that we have yet to find an advert for. Very Sky King looking indeed, but we believe it's not one of those.
