Bulova 23 "B". Nice condition with some crud in the hands I haven't addressed yet. Running/keeping time. Back is hard to read but displays a date code of 1958 and all other correct markings.
An interesting observation: I own or have owned multiple examples of the 23 in this case dated 1958 and 1959. Every one as well as all examples in the database has a nearly smooth back with hard to read stampings. I had always thought it was the result of polishing or wear, but now wonder if this was an incorrectly set stamping press with not enough pressure on the dies for the stainless back blanks.
