There are"beading dots" around the outside edge of bezel, and the inside edge of the bezel.

Dear Texaslady, your watch is unknown. What you call "beading dots" I call " baguettes " since they are shaped the same way as "baguette" sapphires. These Baguette bezel watches existed in all basic shapes, there is even a cut corner shape for sale now. Hence I call it the Baguete bezel family. They are all from 1929 except your other one you link to above.

I use the term: beading dots as a description regarding a design element, I do not put my descriptions within a group/family.

I have many watches with the beading dot design on the bezel, not just in 1929 or 1927.

QUOTE: "THEY ARE ALL FROM 1929 EXCEPT YOUR OTHER ONE YOU LINK ABOVE."

Although this watch has been marked with the wrong year,  this is another example of the beading dots around the bezel before 1927 or 1929 as you stated.  The beading dots are on the inside and outside edges of my watch.  My 1921 #6714

1929 Bulova Ramona, noting a nice match for your other watch.

If you're still using Alex's theory, the name Ramona is not correct because in 1929 the name changed to the Corinthia.

This is a very nice watch.

I do note that the previous submission is marked as unknown despite the name in the link (although there appears to have been some intense debate).

I love the clean look of this watch.  I happen to be browsing the ad database because I was looking to identify another one of mine which I haven't gotten around to submitting.  FWIW, assuming its not a Ramona, I also couldn't find a match.

Thank you tshanno for your compliment on my watch.

The link is incorrect regarding the name Ramona.  There is no factual evidence/advert showing the watch as the Ramona.

Appears to be the same as your other watch - both determined for now to be unknown.

Hi Bob,

While the watches may seem to look the same to you they have different bezel design elements if you look at them up close.

It looks like one has more wear than the other...can't be 100% sure of course.
