If you can get a photo of the movement and inside of the case while it is there that would be great. Most jewlers should be more than happy to let you do that. And most phone cameras should be good enough to get the photos.

Yes it is a 5AB. Jeweler thought it was from the 1940's. I have a photo and will try to put it out there.

If you click on the square icon in the text box it opens up to attach a photo. They have to be sized correctly for them to attach.

I saw one of these on ebay and it has a 5AB 17 Jewel movement. I think you will probably find yours has a 17 jewel movement as well. I looked through the ads for the 30s and 40s and did not find a match yet. Unknown at the moment.
