There are two rows of "beads" on each side of the verticle XX - pattern. Not in Tonys watch or in the ad he used in root record. Perhaps just variation in the case style of these era Presidents.

The small beads are there on the watch , not noticeable so much in the photo because of lighting but very fine , I'm guessing that they are more prominent in the illustration as it's hard to do line art for that detial but to show its there. I will take a close up and post it .

OK Cause like you say, they are not visible in the current photos. Agree on the difficulty of showing fine detail like this in an ad, so the ad may overstate the beads to indicate they are there.

I actually had another one of these which I have to a friend as a gift , after polishing the case that detial became weak, and almost lost. So this case I will not touch. Lol. But it's there. That same beading is also on the lone eagle 2 .
