Watch Description

Hello, I am hoping you can help identify my new watch.  It has gold stripes down each side of case, case is engraved/chased and steel coloured.  The dial is silver coloured with black markings, there is no trace of white paint or lume on dial.  Would this be original or was the paint/lume removed?  The hands show traces of lume.  I have no information on its history, I bought it from a Canadian seller.  It looks like it may be a 1932 Apollo.  Thanks in advance.

edit Alex: changed to 1930 based on case date, not movement that is a repalcement.

Are there any ads or documentation which suggests this watch may be named something else based on jewel count?  The Apollo ad above does not give jewel count, but if there is no conflicting documentation suggesting jewel count may change possible name, then it may not matter.  I see the ad states green gold for the verticle "yellow gold" inside bezel "stripes".  No biggie, as the color of the gold most likely does not make it a different model name either.

I see another 1930 unknown watch in the database.  It seems to closly match subject watch, and the Apollo ad, short of the partially obscured six at teh sub seconds in both watches dials and fully obscured six in the Apollo ad.  There are two Apollo ads in this other unknown, on second page of comments.  Neither give jewel count, but show better detail of the engravings. None of these ads depict a partially obscured six as seen in the actual watchs, but that's a pretty minor point.

Geoff lists crystal deminsions in this other record above as:

Case Serial No.:  9538969

Crystal Details: 25.1 x 19.5 approx
