This is what I believe to be a 1942 Air Warden but I am not sure. It has a 10BE movement with a T date code. The watch is 26mm and yellow gold plate with Stainless steel back. The dial is cream with applied yellow gold markers.
The Air Warden in the DB have the radium dials. It could be an Apollo. I had a similar watch that is in the DB that we ended up deciding it was a Commander but the ads look very close so it could be either. Here is the link to that one and you can see the ads.
J It’s certainly looks like the Commander with the exception that this does not have the little triangles at the hour markers like the ones in the database.
I'm on the fence here. I don't think it's Air Warden as all the Military and Military themed watches has radium type dials. Denis' watch is a currently tagged as Unknown with many recent comments suggesting it as Apollo but when I look at the Apollo case I begin to doubt my own observations.Kathy's Commander is different in the dial so I'm weak on a Commander ID.
I will be Tentative on an Apollo ID ( and wonder if we should update Denis' watch as well)
1944 (by case s/n) Bulova Apollo - tentative

I would agree with giving Denis' watch an ID as well to either Commander or Apollo by consensus.
I think it looks more like the Apollo than the Commander as well.
1944 Bulova Apollo (tentative)
I was back and forth until I saw this which I think pushes me more towards the Apollo model as well.
