Movement has asterisk as well as what looks like a circle - so could be 24 or 25 vintage ??? or later ??
The 6N - 16 jewel movement is not in the database so this is a new one for movement DB.
Case is 16.5mm X 26.75mm. Lug end to lug end is 29mm White gold filled ?kt. Writing in case is very feint.
Band looks to be original with 32 faceted sapphires roll set. Do not know if these are real or simulated.
Edit: The closest picture that I can find in the DB is "The NORMA" 1924 image 11 of 36, but this has a 15 jewel movement.
Edit 2: 6N movement now added to the movement data base. These models are also close, but I do not think they are right - 6720??, 7805??, 6722??
Janet, is the movement "6AN" or "6N" I couldn't see it clearly. Cool Band!!!!

Some similar case shapes in the ad database. 1922 ad snippet for model 6720 next to subject watch and 1923 ad for same. The horizontal bezel in the ads- where it "breaks inward" btwn the 1 and 2 oclock position is not as smooth as in subject watch. October 1924 newspaper ad fror 6720 on far right showing various jewel count and gold content for same model number. Click for full ads.
We now have a newspaper ad from 1924 showing similar style watch (model unnamed) w/ 16 jewels.
Bobbee found another newspaper ad from December 1924 showing what looks like same watch in the ad at far right above, named the Norma. Both the top right ad and Dec ad below don't seem to show as much curve in the horizontal bezel "bends" btwn the 1 and 2 oclock positions.

Your watch model is Unknown to me.
The stuff above was to illustrate the slight variation we have in the ads for model names/numbers, jewel count, metal content, case shape/dial styles while being "close" to subject watch.

Aha...you did beat us to the punch...I just didn't read your edits :) The Norma is darned close, and we see both 15 and 17 jewel models advertised. The unnamed ad for a 16 jeweler makes me think Bulova coulda used some of these movements if they had them laying around.... Don't know if that would constitute a model name change btween 15, 16, and 17 jewelers.
The ebauche is a Sonceboz, used early on and not for many models. A similar shaped and sized movt is available in other ebauches, and these appear around the same time. I don't have a jewel count for the others, but 16 isn't as common.
