Really nice watch, William. The gold engraving on the bezel is sharp. However, I'm wondering how you identified it as an Ambassador? I don't find an ad or another watch in the database that would support the current ID (or any ID, for that matter). We have lots of ads that do show the Ambassador, and they don't match your watch. If you found some documentation, please post it.
Heck I don't remember now how /why we called it an Ambassador back then. It was years ago, as it's record # 46 in the database. I don't even think I have the watch any longer... Im cleaning up some of my watches in database, and boy did I make a mess back then :)

The effort of identifying the watches is a work in progress for all of us.
Based on current information, perhaps this one should be changed to an unknown.
Didn't I see a name for this model now? Plains, do you have one?
