17 Jewel 7 AM was produced between 1941 - '46 (according to the current database) would need to see the opposite side to find the production date code.
Everything else (Stainless back, Rose bezel, Rose Dial) looks 1940's.

Yes, the Date code is located on the other side of the movement.

Here is the back. I couldn't understand the date code.I bought this at a garage sale for a dollar 25 years ago.Took me some time to get to the back i didn't want to break it because it works just fine.I didn't break it:)
Your date code is this arched top "T"

The watch would be a 1942 model and the ID that Daca provided is right on!
