An interesting piece of both Bulova and Harley Davidson history. Both Case serial and movement date code would suggest this piece is from 1940. The case serial beginning with "0" and the 10AX movement date coded with the "Omega" symbol. I was able to locate a 1940 non-conforming in the database that was a case match, but now when going back to it to link the page, the page is blank, not sure what happened overnight there. Case shape appears to be that of the Aviator but includes engraving on the corners. Obviously, it needs a set of correct hands and a second's hand
wow, cool watch! Based on the debate we had HERE and the date of 1940; I'm going to venture a guess that this is a 1940 Warrior with custom dial. The Warrior morphed into the Aviator "B"
The font on the dial threw me, but as a 1940 with no others to compare to, the late 30's style is likely correct. I'm jealous :o)

Fun Fact for the day: Bulova is currently the manufacturer of watches for HD, the relationship goes back a LONG time. A classic American brand using a classic American brand to support their own classic American brand. If you ever get a chance to visit Milwaukee, Wisconsin go to the HD museum, it's really cool.
It's obvious the dial is changed but I think we should receive this one a 1940 Bulova Warrior (too bad HD didn't make a bike called 'Warrior' in 1940).

I have plenty of new old stock Warrior dials. I could change it back and keep the Harley dial for somethinng else. I mean, if it an earlier dial that someone put on this, and im sure it earlier rather than later, i would rather it be on the earlier watch. I wonder if there is any way to detrmine what years Bulova was making these watches.

The dial with the HD logo is certainly from the late 1920s or early 1930s....no late that 32 or 33, so definitely not original to the watch.
I've fixed up your images. Can you please use the 'Insert image via URL' button, followed by clicking the small magnify glass icon (to the right) to open the image upload feature. This will ensure the images are shown correctly
As it is currently presented with incorrect dial and hands , I'm more inclinded to ID as non-conforming, noting that it probably staryed out as a Bulova Warrior.
I do love the dial however and wonder if that was indeed done in the 1930s for another watch.
Did HD change their logo over the years/decades?

Sorry for the mis step in posting the images, i tried to do exactly that, i have done it before with success. This time however it didn't go so well. I see now what i did wrong, and I'll get it right in the future.
Has the logo chaged over the years? That is a very good question, and i will look into it. This might be a fun research.
