Watch Description

I believe this is a 1952 Maxim? Seems to be all original down to the band. Need to figure out the crystal part number to replace it (cracked), keeps impeccable time. When I'm not wearing the 1956 bulova I have I wear this one. I get alot of compliments on this it!

Thank you for posting your watch.  The Maxim has slightly different lugs.  The bracelt is period and one used by Bulova but according to the ads it is not the original.   What you have is a 1952 Bulova Cadet "D".

Wow the case looks almost exactly the same except the 1942's lugs are just a tad fancier. Thank you for the info.! I'm going to measure and compare. I did get the correct band for it and it looks fantastic!

I have installed the correct band on the Cadet! I must say MUCH nicer! All that is left is the crystal and I'm going to call it done!
