10k rolled gold plate
Hello everyone! Adding my new Bulova to the database. I think it is either a 1942 or 1943 Goddess of Time "G". The T stamp on the movement dates to 1942 but the "D" on case dates to 1943. I believe the expansion band is not original as ads state this variant came with a silk cord band/bracelet. Looking to see what you all think! Thanks!
I picked this watch up shortly after the First Lady thinking the movement might work for it. Alas, even though it has the same type of colored lines it is a smaller dial/watch. Thankfully Ken helped me out on the First Lady. This is out of my normal era of collecting but I still think it is a pretty little watch. This is the white gold with turquoise lines.
Goddess of Time "AX"
My Grandmother's watch. Date code has an "asterisk" meaning either 1924 or 1941. My Grandmother would have been 33 in 1924 and 50 in 1941. Any idea the model and correct date?
Thanks
My dad bought this is 1948 for my mom for Christmas. They are both passed away and I found it in a box. I have no other info. The back of the watch says 10K rolled gold plate.
Cool two-tone case on this ladies
This is a very nice looking watch from 1937. The case is 10KT yellow gold plate case with a gold plated case back. The lugs have really nice what I believe are aftermarket bar extenders for the strap that really gives it a great look. I think this is much. better than without. The movement is 17J 6AZ with an arrow date code.
1937 Bulova Goddess of Time
Appears to be a 1939 Bulova 'Goddess of Time' with original boxes & period correct bracelet. The watch & bracelet are in good shape with what appears to be the original hands & crown. The dial needs a little cleaning & the crystal needs to be replaced. The watch winds, sets & runs. Inside the case reads: BULOVA - FIFTH AVE - NEW YORK The case back reads: 10K ROLLED GOLD PLATE - BULOVA - 9262696
