My first thought as well Jaroslav. Case and bezel are very similar. It really is a classic look isn't it?

mhoward - by this point in their history Bulova was not giving proper names to their watches so it's unlikely we'll be able to give this beauty a model name, which unfortunately means it will be identified as an "Unknown" model. We'll still look to see if we can find anything.

PS - based on N7 which is the Bulova date code for 1977 I have updated the year of your watch.

Does the difference between the movement's date code of N7 vs the caseback's date code of N9 indicate that it is a replacement caseback - or did Bulova use older movements for later case designs?

OK - I missed the N9 on the caseback so it really should be 1979 (I'll change it back right after I clean my glasses). To answer you question mhoward, it is not unheard of to see a one or two year difference, Any more we suspect a replacement movement. As I recall the 11AOACD was a fairly common movement in this era.

Was the Super Seville line not well documented in terms of advertisements and catalogs? I've been having a difficult time finding additional examples of this model without the "Super Seville" on the dial.

I guess that's the point. The Super Seville was fairly well documented in the 1980's but we don't support watches made after 1980. I suspect it's an early iteration but we having nothing to support that, hence we are left to admit it as an Unknown model.
