This is a NOS 1977 Bulova Quartz Digital Model #82373Y based on the original hand tag. it is a yellow gold plated case with a 9011.10 quartz LCD movement with an N7 date code. The stainless case back also has an N7 date code. Has the original Accutron logo'd strap and Bulova marked Buckle. No box though. The movement was severely corroded with battery acid and I was able to get it clean with 90% alcohol and a little scrubbing with peg wood. This is a first for the DB. Interestingly I could not find a serial number on either side of the caseback.
Sweet - an NOS Bulova! 1977 Bulova Model 82373 Y
Linebook confirmation of the hangtag Bulova Ladies LCD "82373-2Y". Also shows rhe 82374 as another example.

Nice snag!
1977 Bulova Model 82373-2Y
Have added model name 'Ladies LCD', but wondering if a generic model of 'LCD' would suffice and then group by gender.
I feel like we should go with the hang tag on the outside chance we have one. I might prefer Ladies LCD and Mens LCD to be separate.

I would go with the hang tag model number for sure. Technically according to the tag and corresponding ads this is a 1977 Bulova Quartz Digital Model #82373Y. Too wordy so we should shorten to the 1977 Bulova Model #82373Y.
Wonderful with the string tag!
1977 Bulova Ladies LCD "82373-2Y"
Hmm I missed the reverse side of the tage that lists "Bulova Quartz Digital'. We already have the 'Quartz Digital' model category and can simply mark as a ladies watch.
So it should become 1977 Bulova Quartz Digital #82373Y
