Neat watch that I am unfamiliar with. What does it say above "Bulova Watch Co. on the movement? Is the movement stamped either USA or Swiss?

Crystal for this case is the 1744M
At present, my only guess would be to lump it into the designation "International". It appears to be a European produced model for the European market and may not have a corresponding US market designation.
Interesting watch Denis, I wish we had some indication of what his name is. In past many of the watches we've tagged as 'International' had either the stylized Goddess of Time on the case back or the word International on the dial. Not having either moves me away from that designation. Short of a new advert I'm going with Unknown. I rather like the watch, it's different.
1977 Bulova Unknown
I was thinking european also, for $2.25USD I took a chance on it as I liked the look of it.Oh,for that price it also came with a 1954 Senator. Thanks to Andersok for the crystal number.
Here is an ad confirming the model name Imperial. Not the same watch but there is Imperial on this dial and the ad confirms a US model name. Detroit Free Press (Detroit, Michigan) · 1 Jul 1977

Good ad find Jim. Ad confirms text on dial indicating it is indeed a model name and there were at least 2 models. One in ad and subject watch, so
1977 Imperial - no variant. Works for me.

Just looking through my watches and was thinking, should this watch not be listed in the database as "1977 IMPERIAL"?That way we would at least have the model listed there for future reference.Just a thought.
