Hello All, A super 70s piece that I picked up from an auction. Any ID would be interesting. Beveled crystal (on the inside) and multi-hue dial (I'm calling it "sprite"). Movement is a 1974 (N4) Bulova 11ADACB automatic 23 jewel. Stainless case is a 1975 (N5) made in Taiwan with the # indicated. Locking ring style opening. Crown has Bulova's now famous tuning fork logo that was used across all movement types. Bracelet was added by me.
Thanks and regards,

Currently listed on ebay with all the specs and happy to cut a steep discount from the ebay price for a forum member.
I suspect your watch is part of what Bulova referred to as the 'Brigadier Collection' in 1975. Possibly even the 'Jet Star' series.
Whilst I've found one watch with a matching case and another with a matching dial and movement, no luck so far finding an exact match to your watch.

Many thanks for the info.
I see the 1975 Brigadier line book snap shot in this thread and note the case similarities (some features rotated 90 degrees, tricky design!).
Edit, I see the case in this 1975 Jet Star (but not movement, dial or crystal).

Replying to myself, the crystal is faceted.
Sorry, I'm not finding a match. Closest may be in the Buccaneer line, as it used beveled crystals.
I don't really see a match to this combination either. I suggest it's Unknown
1975 'JET STAR'

The linked watch was ID'd by comparing a 1973 ad to the model # on the hang tag, if I'm reading the old thread correctly.

Thanks.
You had me relook at the linked watch and it DOES have the same faceted crystal (see facet line refracting the day in photo 1).
Would the diffet dial color and a different movement be a Jet Star variation?
Going down the Jet Star route, this 1977 Jet Star aligns on the case. Crystal is faceted, but different shape. Dial similar. Different movement.
This looks like an Auto Day and Date, like FifthAvenueRes above. From the 1976 linebook.
