Watch Description

Just picked this one up. It's a documented Bulova model with a Bulova factory custom dial for Electrolux bearing the signature of Steve Sheridan, who was chief operating officer of the Electrolux vacuum cleaner company. My research on the internet only turned up two of these award watches - this one and another (also dated 1975) that was sold 3 years ago. Case s/n of that one was i973282, a difference of 37.

Found in the 1975 linebook listed as "Model 12317 - 4Y"

Watch came to me keeping time on a replacement expansion band that I switched out to black suede.

1975 Bulova Model 12317 - 4Y

Did it happen to come with a replacement motor for my wife's 1980 Electrolux Silverado model? I'm having a bugger of a time finding one.

That linebook reference is dated 1973, like this one. Model number/stock number is the same in 1973 and 1975.

Agreed!

1975 Diamond Excellency "R" (with custom dial)

Well found, Jim! I literally forgot I had the 1973 dated example!
