Nice watch! Thanks for sharing it with us. According to the 1973-1975 Bulova Linebook, it's a

1973 Accutron Date and  Day "CN"

Where might one find the complete 1973-1975 Bulova Linebook for reference?

Thanks for the info! The line book describes the background as grey, whereas in the photo (and in person) it looks more like copper / gold. Is mine a varient or has the dial oxidized to it's current state?

Regards.

Nice watch, I'd say the color change is purely age related (like my hair). 1973 Bulova Accutron Date and Day CN is a good match

Spot on comment.... about the hair thing! Thanks. And Yes I realize that I sometimes tend to interchange stainless steel "silver" color with grey. Depending on the viewing angle and lighting type it goes from a warmer copper grey to a cooler grey.

Misaligned day

Need advice.......

I bought the watch in October fully serviced and cleaned. Sometimes on random days, the "day of week" does not properly align in the window, such as today. Is this something that I should be concerned about, is it normal with these watches?

I have noticed that some 218 movements have 1 resistor, and other have two resistors in parallel.

Which version came first?
