Running nicely but sadly non original band.
Watch looks to be the Accutron Date & Day 'CB'
The first thing I noticed is that the seconds track does not have the same shape/outline as the crystal opening; it is more round. When I found this linebook ad, it seems to confirm that your dial may not be original to this case.
Line Book 181 1973
Whilst it isn't completely round it is on the oval side and yes, that is exactly what I feared when I received it . There are one or two others around with this case which have a different dial from the advert but which have a dial commensurate with the crystal opening . Can't imagine what could have happened to this one to warrant a dial change!. Still, I' m .happy with it . As an aside, the angle of the photo of the movement might look like it says 2192 but It is a 2182 as I have double checked.
Cool watch, Dave. I like it, but am at a loss. The only use of this case I find is the Date and Day "CB" and I find no other Accutrons in the '73 Line Books using this face. I agree that the face doesn't match the crystal opening. My initial reaction is that it's a "CB" casing that had a different movement and face dropped in. No matter, it's a handsome critter; wear it and enjoy it.
As to what to call it, maybe the way to go is generic
1973 Accutron Date and Day, no variant.
Another possible option is Date and Day "CB" noting face swap, as the casing seems to be a stand alone for that model variant.
