This Accutron was bought by my Dad in 1973 when he was still selling Bulova's in his jewelry store. He wore it daily up to his death in 1995. I've never seen another one like it. If anyone has more information about this model, I'd appreciate it.
It has a 14K white gold case and band with diamonds set on both sides. N3 and 33347 stamped on the back. 2183 stamped on the movement.
Still runs but loses about 2 minutes a week. I'm sure it needs a cleaning but I don't know who to send it to. I could use some advice about that.
An amazing watch and wonderful heirloom, thanks for sharing! I went through the Bulova linebooks from 1973 to 1975 and think I found a possible match in 1973-1975 linebook184. It appears to be a match (D515), but crown placement differs; which I can't explain.

I see the confussion. I'm wondering if the photos are around the wrong way. The bottom photo case color looks lighter so you'd think it was the white gold verison.
Based on the notion that the photos are inverse, I'd ID this watch as a 1973 Bulova Accutron "D515".
Well - I think the bottom watch in the advert is the subject based on the crown location. I agree that they are inverted. 1973 Bulova Accutron D515, certainly a family treasure!
Swapped photos in the linebook didn't occur to me! Agreed and confirmed.
1973 Bulova Accutron "D515"
1973 Bulova Accutron "D515" is a good match. This was a very expensive watch in its day so it is a treasure to have it especially with your father's connection.
Thank you for sharing your heirloom watch with us.
1973 Bulova Accutron "D515" looks like a good match.
218-3 Movements were generally used for Lady Models with no calenders present. I'm not a big fan of the fixed Bracelets as they can become detached or warp out easily. Losing 2 minutes a week is a sign your watch coils need to regulated. And a proper voltage check with new battery should be performed. I specialize in Vintage Accutron Service and Restorations and have worked on many Members watches.
