Thank you, Jabs.
It took me a moment to realize there are four watches in the photo, the first is cropped out. Lovely watch. Wondering if we tag it 'Starburst' or 'DIAMOND Starburst', either way, she's a dandy.
1972 Bulova (Diamond) Starburst A
Very nice watch. I would vote for Starburst 'A' w/o Diamond in the name, based on this other post and the naming in the ads there not showing Diamond.
I am fine with the name with or without the Diamond but would suggest keeping them all the same for consistency in the DB.
1972 Bulova (Diamond) Starburst "A"
IMHO, Since both the advert and Velvet cases, state: "DIAMOND STARBURST" I will use this name in my data base with the variant "A".
Reasoning because we have a "Diamond Empress" and "Empress".
Just a suggestion about using the full "Diamond Starburst" with the variant letters due to the find of an advert showing a Starburst "H"

These are Sunburst but I can see how the eye would see Starburst when you are looking for ads for it. I would have probably seen the same thing : )
I am good with Diamond Starburst though.
Yes, I know these are the Sunburst. There was a typo.
Using as an example. I'll just use the Diamond Starburst in my records to keep them from being confusing.
