Watch Description

This appears to be a 1972 Sabre "B".  It is a wafer thin top loading stainless steel case with a bezel and crystal ring so no split stem is needed.  Inside the case back is marked W. Germany.   The movement is a tiny 8EA 17J movement with an N2 date code.   The back of the case is also marked N2.  The dial is lightly brushed finish champagne dial with printed black roman numeral hour markers and black hour and minute stick hands.  No second hand.  The crown is an Accutron logo'd drown.   I found an ad with the Sabre "A" which had a blue dial with the same roman numeral layout and case.  The ad also lists a "C", "D" and "G".  I also saw another watch listed as a Sabre "J".   I have to believe that this is the Sabre "B" since it is the same as the "A" and the C, D, G and J are id'd with ads and are different style watches.   I am still searching for the ad on this one.  As you can see it needs a good clearing.

By the way this is not a Broadcaster.  I originally thought so too but the lugs are longer and tapered. The Roman Numerals are also shorter and squatter on the Sabre

Agree with Sabre 'M'.

Happy to see this model identified. I had one years ago that I could not identify. Same movement and case design, #3116.
