Nice match for a 1972 Bulova Golden Clipper "AB" on original band....very nice!

17 jewel, 40 micron bezel, rolled gold case back. Automatic, day/date, sweep second, hand applied markers with black inserts in gilt dial. Water resistant, shock resistant, unbreakable mainspring. Gold-filled mesh band.

I have dwelt with these so-called unbreakable mainsprings before, do you have any idea whom the manufacturer is of this model mainspring? And more importantly are they in reality truly unbreakable? Thanks so much for the advertisement, that's the watch for sure.

Thanks so much! The Finesse / Bulova bracelet is in basically "Unused Condition" as well. What does the AB mean?

"AB" is the variant. Bulova would in some cases simultaneously produce or release several watches with the same name, but with a different band, face, case design or gold color and differentiated between them with a variant letter.
