My grandfather bought this watch for my grandmother on December 4, 1974. According to the date codes and receipt that was stored with the watch, it should be a 14K Gold Ladies Christian Dior. The outside of the case is stamped with a J with an arrow going through it; 14K; Bulova; N1; 42464; and another symbol that looks like a T with a tail attached to it. The clasp has the same J and arrow; 14K; and Italy. I'm too afraid to open the case because the slot for a tool is about the width of a fingernail. But I did find an advertisement in the archive that stated it was a 23 Jewel Christian Dior AG.
Very nice heirloom piece. Looks to be in great condition.
Christian Dior 'AG' would be correct.

Thank you. I love it. I'm going to get it cleaned this week. I'm almost afraid to wear it (only on very rare occasions) because of the band. It seems like it would be scored easily.
Nice to see a gold Dior. For some reason we do not see too many of these. 1971 Bulova Dior "AG"

I agree. It was hard to track the info down, but this site and its ad archive helped tremendously.

Thank you. It really is beautiful. I'm so glad my mother's and sister's wrists were too big. :-)
