Season's Grettings to all of you!
This watch was a present to my father from my mother; from the backcase I guess it is a 1971 production and I searched anywhere to understand which model but never found anything matching.
For further information, as you will see it is made in solid 18k satin gold and very heavy (more than 3.5oz.).
Thank you for your help!
Wow all that gold!
The closest I can come up with is this advert.
Model wise I think it's a 'Mini Accutron'

Wow, that's a nice one. Congrats, that's a pretty respectable heirloom watch to receive from your Dad.
I come up empty on a name as well.
1971 Bulova Accutron is the best I can do, but still looking.
Hello, thank you for your messages and comments! In effects I tried to find that model on the Bulova archives but I did not find it... Unfortunately its box has been lost during one of my moves...

Some years ago I remember I have found a web page on the European website of Bulova containing an archive of vintage watches, I tried to find it again but unsuccessfully, will try to see on my old Mac if any trace on the chronology

If you can once again find the link, we would be very pleased if you would share it.
What a lovely heirloom for you to have from your parents and a beautiful watch. The ads and names diminish in the 70's but at least you know it is an Accutron. I agree with Stephen that it is probably a Mini Accutron.
Nice family heirloom, it certainly is exciting to see all gold bracelet as well as case. I wonder though, if this is a man's watch we shouldn't tag it as a 'Mini' as they were all ladies models. I agree that is most likely an Unknown Accutron Model but still would tag it as...
1971 Bulova Accutron
Good point. I missed the part 'to my father from my mother' which would mean its a mens watch.
gioodel can you please measure the width of the watch (minus the crown) and post here.
Could it have been a gift to your mother from your father ?

As finally seen, it is a unisex model... and yes it was a present from my mother to my father; my mother had another gold Accutron for herself now in the hands of my sister-in-law
