Bulova Accutron Astronaut Mark II "H" from 1971
All stainless steel case housing the 2185 Accutron movement; wonderful dial with blue and orange accents; original band with the Accutron logo on the clasp; hard to find a scratch or mark on this so perhaps it was never worn or NOS.

This is a fabulous watch Ken, it is just plain fabulous. I can't imagine a nicer example. Does this one get to stay home or is he going off to market? How do the two crowns work, I assume one changes the time zone window forward or back?

Thanks, this one stays home.
The lower crown is the usual time and calendar setting crown; the upper crown is used to set the hour - but it only moves the hour hand to the new time zone (fwd or back), not the hour in the window - that one maintains the hour of your home base:

Thanks Ken. I always assumed the 'home base' window was the second time zone but this makes perfect sense to me. I like the idea of changing the hour without having to change the minutes/seconds.
Outstanding watch! I absolutely love the colour combination. Has now gone on my wish list.
Bulova Accutron Astronaut Mark II H.
It would be a crime not to give this one some wrist time.
What a FLAWLESS Bulova !
