Here is one that had me stumped at first. I thought it was a new variant of the Oceanographer due to the chocolate brown dial. But after I polished the crystal I could see the remains of blue around the hour markers so this has patina'd to a beautiful color. Even the second hand has patina'd to a yellow. This is one in a million example. I could not open the case back. Being round with no lugs there is no grip. I need to get to a watchmaker to have it professional opened. I assume this has an 11BLACD 17J movement. Runs great but cannot set the date. Needs a little work but WOW.

The discoloration of the face and seconds hand is really odd. Almost like it sat in direct sunlight for years. No matter, it's very cool as it is and like you said - a one of a kind.

Agree on the dial fading. I'm a sucker for a coloured second hand, red, organge, yellow. Makes a dial just pop.

Oftentimes exposure to sun will cause major colour changes. This watch may have seen a lot of outdoor use.
Golden Clipper 'H' for me as well.
I wonder if it sat for years in someone's bedroom on a chest of drawers in the direct sunlight. For this level of fading it is the only logical explanation.

Looking at it, there is more color remaining on the dial edge from the "2" clockwise to the "8". If it sat flat for a long period with the sunlight striking it at a shallow angle with the crown facing the light source; the edge of the dial would be in shadow from the case opening edge. Hence, that edge would still retain more color (which appears to be the case). It Could have sat for years in an antique store showcase in sunlight...never touched or moved with an absurd price tag on it. Just an observation. I re-created it quite quickly with my photo light and a watch with a similar distance between bezel lip and dial. Not a Bully, please accept my apology and shame :o)
