14 KT White Solid Gold with 6 Diamonds Case and Movement Stamped: N 0 Signature: Case, Crown, Dial and Movement
Another wonderful 14KT gold watch. Although I am not sure it is a Diamond Caress. The line books all show Diamond Caress as 17J and not 23J. I am stumped and can't explain the ad and box? The others panel members might be able to unravel this. Really cool that the serial number is 34000.
The 17 jewel version is the 1970 BULOVA DIAMOND CARESS "D".

Could it be possible there was a 23J variant N and O of the same watch name? Is there a precedent for that with Bulova naming conventions.

We are talking about Bulova.....anything is possible. In fact I think the "Z" variant is made of cheese :-)

Z variant made of cheese.....too funny, Stephen.
This is a first for me, a Bulova watch having 17J and 23J, with same Name: Diamond Caress. I thought my watch had a movement swap.
Here is the line book in DB regarding the 23J

Well there you go!

My watch is 17J, therefore it is a 1970 DIAMOND CARESS "D", as per Stephen's post.

Agree with Diamond Caress "D", very nice watch!
