Bulova Accutron 214. Textured blue dial with white hands. Runs great.
Cant find any other accutron that has this same dial. Just wondering what people think of it. Thanks
definately a 'Series 214' Accutron.
model # ?
214 Accutron for my vote.
December 1971 ad.
Accutron series 214 model # 247.

1970 Accutron 214 #247 works for me. Year of ad and subject watch fit nicely too. Subject watch must be yellow gold color, as even the stainless steel back appears slightly pink.
Bulova did some textured dial Accutrons. What makes this one even more unusual is the tuning fork logo second hand - not common, and the placement of the tuning fork symbol and name "Accutron" on the dial. None of the features unknown but all together kind of unusual. Nice watch!
214 - 247 works for me - Thanks oliver - I might not have noticed the sweep hand with the fork symbol, very cool
Thanks a lot for all the info!! I thought this was a unique watch because I couldn't find another one like it on the Internet. The watch is available for sale so if you know anyone that is interested have them message me. Thanks!
two ticks from me. I thought we had a recent newspaper ad stating blue dial color for this or a very similar Accutron.
Glad I found this post. I have this same watch with an M3 date stamp. I found it in my dad's storage unit when we were cleaning it out. He used to wear watches until the battery died or the band broke. It is in really good shap except for a dead battery and a missing band.
Interesting that the ad says that it used to sell for $110 back in 1970. That suggests that this was a gift (no way my dad would have spent $100 for a watch!).
Any idea what this might be worth today? I plan on wearing it as my everyday watch but maybe I should reconsider.
Date Stamp: M3
Serial: H26749
Condition: New leather band, notice a small scratch or crack in crystal at 7:00 (only noticed under magnifying glass), new battery, keeps perfect time.
