I think this is our first watch in the database that matches with the ad. Hunters Orange dial on this guy... super distinct and I believe only in 1969. Really sweet light blue world bezel on a stainless steel case. The waterproof gasket had gone to the darkside and turned into absolute tar when I opened the back. Took quite awhile to clean it off. I believe this to be the 1969 Sky Star
Agree with 1969 Sky Star, nice advert
Gosh that's a cool watch plains, sure cleaned up nice. I assume this one goes to the collection?
Sky Star
In reply to Gosh that's a cool watch by Geoff Baker
I'm debating on it Geoff... it's a bit on the rare side as it was only made in 69, but maybe that makes it profitable! Haha....
Very cool 1969 SkyStar with Orange dial; is that the original band?
Sky Star gets my vote. This was a popular model, and various companies were doing them at the time, many had the orange dial.
Confirming model and variant from the 1969 Linebook BAWD0172, pg 38. Also we need to update the name from Sky Star to Skystar based on the spelling in the line book.
1969 Bulova Skystar "B"

'SkyStar' is also how it is spelled on the packaging. (Box, Manual, etc)
