I inherited this watch from my father who passed away. He bought this brand new but for 15-20 years it has sat unused in a dresser drawer. I am looking to get more information on this watch, specifically what model it is and where I might be able to find an original, or copy, of the band it came with.
Thanks

That's a real beauty. A wonderful heirloom to wear and remember. My most precious watch was my Dad's.
I think this one is a first for the database as well! Based on the ad, I suspect it may have come on black leather, but that is pure speculation. The ad is dark but 2 of 3 solid gold watches (yours is not visible - lost in background) appear to be on black leather. If it was mine, my choice would be a thin low profile black lizard (fine grain pattern) leather. You should be able to get one with the proper width ends at a good jewelry store.

I should also mention that $250 in 1969 is equivalent in purchasing power to about $1,750.50 in 2020. Welcome to mybulova and thank you for sharing your heirloom with us

Thank you for taking the time to review the pics and post a response. I will try and scout around for a black band that will look good. The watch is too small for my taste but I would like to have it complete if possible. Luckily, I have two other watches from his collection will I will definitely be wearing and passing on to my kids.
Welcome to myBulova and thank you for sharing your father's watch with us. Heirloom watches are the best! I agree with Accutron Date and Day.

Than you for the response. I will try to find more info about this model. I think this site is great. While this is not my most favorite watch I inherited, I enjoyed looking at all the other watches on the site so I thought I might as well post pics of this one too.

Thank you for the identification, extensive Google search pending! LOL.
There were two similar models for this one; the 'M' variant and the 'N' variant. The difference looks to be the dial color, either in silver or in gilt/taupe color. I'm not sure which variant had which color.
Accutron Date and Day "M" is good for me.
Nice watch!
