Looks to match model called Valerie; yellow gold plated would be the "N" variant. Original band also looks to be on the watch.
It appears that there is a shock jewel missing from your balance.

Hi Melodie, Welcome to myBulova and thank you for sharing your watch with us. Nice that it has the original band.

Does anyone know what the value is?

Melodie46, unfortunately we do not give evaluations on myBulova, as there are too many factors to consider with vintage watches.
I can however receommend seeing what similar watches actually sold for on auction sites like eBay. You can normally view past sales that might give you a ball park figure.
Typically though Bulova watches are not worth a great deal of money.
I agree it appears to be
1968 Bulova Valerie "N", on the original band but note that the linebook calls out 17J and 5AT movement appears to be 21J or 23J. I would say the first number in the stamped jewel count is a "2". Agreed that the balance jewel is missing.
