Watch Description

This is the 1968 manual-winding model I don't know nothing about except the case number and year of manufacture. The diameter is 35 mm without crown, upper portion of the case is brushed, bevels on sides and sides themselves are polished. The screw-down back has all the usual writings on it - Waterproof, Stainless Steel Case, Shock Resistant, Anti-Magnetic. Seems to me like one of examples of that outdoor-type wave of watches.  All over a little sweet beater which goes on and on...

This may potentially be an Oceanographer, but not having "Super" Waterproof on the dial is my concern. 1968 was the entry year for this model line, and dials early on had some differences with the super waterproof then changing to 333 feet, and some without Oceanographer on the dial and some w/o.

Here is an offsite ad that appears to match the watch. It may just be the same "J" variant as above, as it does not specify case material.

I don't find any other linebook matches for this one for the Stainless case. Wish we had books from 1968.

I'm not sold on Sea King, tentative on Oceanographer, would vote for Unknown.

Based on new info, this one is a coin flip between maybe Sea King and maybe Oceanographer. Of the 2 maybes, Oceanographer is a better guess, but I am also inclined to go Unknown.
