Gold case. Gold plated original bracelet. Engraved with original owners name Paul Piet and NZ 255.128
Any additional info people have on this watch would be welcome :). I am currently trying to discover what the engraved numbers mean
Welcome to myBulova. Really nice looking watch and I like the engravings. This is just a guess but it might be an address in New Zealand or something like that. I was unable to find an ad for your watch.

Hi,
Does not appear to be a military number but a friend suggested it could have been the orniginal owners' phone number! Apparently this was a fairly common practice back in the day. I now need to try and locate the relevant phone book to check :)

I wonder if perhaps the engraving is a military serial number. It was not uncommon in years past for servicemen to have their name and number engraved on a watch or ID bracelet to act as a third dog tag. US Regular Army start with "US" followed by a 8 place number, so It would not surprise me if this was a New Zealand military ID number.
1967 Bulova Accutron 23101 looks like a good match
Is the name 'Paul Piet' also engraved on the back case, or is the first part something different?
In reply to Is the name 'Paul Piet' also by mybulova_admin
Yes Paul H Piet engraved on the caseback so a middle initial adding to the info on the clasp :)
I think it's a match to the 23101 in fact I suggest this is the original bracelet as well, nice package.
