This is a stunningly beautiful Bulova. This model has been previously ID'd as a Bulova Date King "NO" based on the 1967 and 1968 ads describing it with a sliver dial. I did find a Linebook listing in 1967 for an NP variant which lists it as having a GILT Dial but not one for a silver dial. My example is clearly a silver dial and looks more silver than this previously id'd version which appears more gold or GILT. https://mybulova.com/watches/1968-date-king-9645. To me it looks like the previously ID watch is actually the GILT model or Bulova Date King NP. I am thinking it is more gold and should have the variant changed based on this 1967 line book listing.
1966 Bulova Date King "NO"
The case is yellow gold plate with a stainless back showing an M6 date code. The dial is silver with glossy Black Roman numerals, black lumed hour minute hands, black second hand and a black framed date window. The movement is a17 jewel 11ALCD with an M7 date code. This one really pops.

Well the above 1968 advert does say 'on a slver dial' so that's some fine detective work right there Jim.

I think your model needs to be updated to Date King NP. I added the line book listing to your watches thread.
Great sleuthing, Jim.
