Bulova 1966 Counselor

Another great eBay find! I believe this is a 1966 Counselor from looking on the database here. I could not find any adverts with this watch.  The dial has a really interesting patina with the grooved texture. Case is 10k RGP and has held up pretty well over the years. The watch came with the original band when I bought it. But, I don't like expansion bands and it was much to small for my 8.5" wrist. A comfortable Hadley-Roma leather band sits on it now, but I have the original band in a safe place.  10CL movement runs smooth, quiet, and keeps time very well. I love how thin this watch is, only 6.6mm! It wears very comfortably. It's a really interesting piece and I hope to keep it for quite a while.
