Looks to be an Aerojet K ?, Case stamped M6 , movement M7, Selfwinding and seems to be in very good order, Bought the strap on spec a while ago as it was a Bulova , turned out to be marked Aerojet Probably not period, but of course I had to find a watch to go with it!.
Wow the bracelet is more rare that the watch. Great to have an original. I don't recall ever seeing a model name on the strap before.
1966 Bulova Aerojet (I will take a look later at the variant unless one of the other panel members beats me to it.)
Looks like a match to the Aerojet "L" (though that came with a bracelet)
1967 linebook

Pretty certain the strap was not meant for this particular variant as it was slightly wider than than this watches lug width. Perhaps a whole new world of identifying buckle style era's. ?

Agreed. The leather strap appears to have been trimmed to fit the lugs, so is likely not original to this particular Aerojet watch.
At this point. based on Ken's ad find, I'll agree with
1966 Aerojet "L" noting replaced band.
Based on it being mounted on a leather (distant cousin of the aligator) strap I think we should ID as the "K". LInebook BAWD0167.
1966 Bulova Aerojet "K".

Hey! wait a minute. I saw FIVE alligators the other day on my morning bike ride. Each and every one was covered with alligator 'leather'. HAHA
"K" works for me, I missed that one on the strap.

Same here. Good catch, Stephen.
Variant "K" presented on leather.
Yes , I did have to trim a fraction off to get it to fit, as I said it was a tad too wide , However I do have an unused brown NOS Alligator Bulova strap / buckle, an exact fit , looking for a home , so decisions , decisions.
