Watch Description

I purchased this from Ebay after searching for a watch made in my birth year.  It's a nice looking watch with a black dial. But, the caseback has a date code of M5(1965) and the movement has N6(1966). The movement was not included in the listing's photos.  This has me a bit confused.

I need to correct the date codes in the description,  should be M6 and M5.

Thank you for posting your watch.   Since the case is M5 I will call this a 1965 model.  I could not find a match in the 1965 line book but found a match in the 1966 Linebook.   Based on that this is a 1965 Bulova Sea King "X"

Here is the 1965 linebook reference for the Sea King "X". Note the model number is the same: 11362W

If the watch does not appear in the 1965 linebook but appears in 1966 it would be more prudent to date the watch to 1966 corresponding with the movement datecode.

Perhaps the 'X' variant did not exist in 1965.

*this watch was actually manufactured in 1966.
