Nice generic 1965 Swiss Bulova Accutron.  Somewhere we have some tables which may have info associated with Steel case #453, but I don't remember where, nor have I used this cross-reference method to look for other info.  I kinda punt on this to others who are more familiar w/ the process.

what kind of info can this tell you ? and out of all my swiss made cases i think this is my first #453, most of the others have been #454

I don't know.  Maybe just the crystal for that case, but possibly other stuff too.  Somebody more familiar may know if other info is there...

Referencing a case parts catalog the case number 453 tells us it should be White, Accutron, 214H movement, 317AW crystal, 9869SS crown, etc.

I notice in this catalog that some of the case numbers have a note regarding Not being sold in the USA. This one was sold in USA.

that's odd because it has a swiss case (bezel & back cover), swiss style battery hatch cover, swiss serial number, swiss movement, swiss dial, and swiss hands but i suppose some swiss accutron watches must have got imported to the states......

it's also listed in my Swiss Case and Crystal List.....

It really doesn't specify what the sales location/s are without the note, only that there is a possible note on some cases stating Watch Not sold in USA; so perhaps this particular watch was not exclusively sold in the USA, or perhaps it was, it is not clear.
