1964 Astronaut 14K Solid Gold Bezel & Case...
Appears to be a 1964 Astronaut; however I
Can't seem to find a variant. Subject watch has a face like this model
But the case, lug attachment and band of this model (Astronaut C) in 14K with gold plated band instead of advertised 18K with solid gold band.
Unknown variant or possible marriage?
Panel?

It's neither one of those Astronauts because it doesn't use those lugs, This uses a "Covered" lug that's a bit easier to see in these pictures of a gold filled version of the same case...
According to this Astronaut Variant Guide, it should be a 14kt "Solid Enhanced" with a gold filled JB Champion "straight side" bullet link bracelet...

There are two different version of this watch, They both have 14kt solid gold rotating bezels, Where they differ is the case with one being "gold filled" or in the case of this watch 14kt "solid gold" as notated on the rear covers of both watches, Plus there is one more way they differ with the "gold filled" rear cover using stainless steel for the battery hatch, settings handle, and lock ring, While the "solid gold" rear cover uses 14kt solid gold for the battery hatch, settings handle, and lock ring...
Oh and it is a 214HN, The 214HN is the movement Calibre that was only used in the Accutron Astronaut watchs from 1960 to 1977...

Thanks for explaining the details. I really haven't looked at the Accutron Astronaut watches. Really nice watch.
[/quote]Accutron caliber 214 watches from 1960 to 1977 is my one and only focus, I can appreciate other brands and models but I'm not really interested in any of that...
